What else can you do if you want a little quiet time away from the computer, the radio and work? Pitch a tent in the backyard and leave the phone in the house. Parking your car down the street or in the garage, you can hide out in your own backyard for a little peace and quiet.

Sometimes you do not have to leave your home at all to get a little peace and quiet. You can send the children to their friends for the weekend or just a night. You can let the kid’s camp out in the yard for the night while you enjoy your quiet evening in the house. You can even have your friends create a club where everyone takes turns taking each others kids for the weekends so every one can have a mini vacation once a month without having to pay a sitter or over extend the budget!

Take a mini vacation in your own home. How? Unplug the phone, turn off the computer, and turn on the radio. Read a good book, take a long hot shower, a swim in the pool, and ignore the world just for a day. You will find that you are going to be so relaxed by the end of the day you are going to feel as if you went away for an entire week!
