Ways to Reward Customer Service Employees - ContinuedContinued from Ways to Reward Customer Service EmployeesLearn more about what your employees need to do their job right. Make the extra tools and support that they need a reward for going above and out of their way to help a customer. This could be travel bags, calculators, binders, phone lists, or what ever your sales customer service people need to better their position in the company. Provide your customer service reps with gift certificates for places where they can take clients to dinner, or where they can pick up dinner for their family. Food certificates are something that just about anyone can use. Give your employees extra time when they need it in case of a family emergency. Have them explain their situation, and an expected time of return. You might be surprised how much employees will appreciate their being able to return to a job when having medical, marital or children problems! Employees want to feel some sort of power, even if it is not real. Reward employees who take and pass drug tests. Make the rewards well worth it as you want your employees to be in top shape all of the time. This could be that you provide ½ of the health insurance if employees stay clean or you put a bonus in their retirement if all the tests come back clear. Savings bonds are a great way to give rewards to employees. Savings bonds only cost a half of what they are going to mature to be, and the employee is going to realize the value of the bond for later years when they need it most.
