Tips For Empty Milk Jugs - Continued

Continued from Tips For Empty Milk Jugs

You could use small twigs or pieces of wood to make perches for the birds by putting two small holes across from each other in the jug. Also put a very small hole in the bottom for the rainwater to drain from.

Your kids can use milk jugs too.  My kids like to decorate them for holidays.  For Easter, they make them bright and cheery and put candy in and give to their friends or Grandparents.  You can do the same thing at Christmas time using garland and glitter and maybe glue some fabric to the outside.

All you have to do is cut the jug about half way down depending on the size you want.  This makes a nice craft idea for the kids and keeps them busy.

There are so many ideas that you can do with old plastic milk jugs that it almost makes it a shame to throw them out.  Just use a little creativity and you would be surprised what you can come up with.  Just always make sure to clean the jugs out really good no matter what you intend to do with them.
