Skip dessert when you are offered.  Only have dessert when you are treating yourself.  Watch items that are high in sugar, caffeine, cholesterol, and fats.  This might mean cutting back on treats or choosing to drink water rather than soda.  Learn to enjoy less expensive foods.  Some examples are beans, rice, chicken, or pasta.

You can save money as well as get the rest of the family smart to the fact in eating sensible foods.  You could also learn to can or freeze food.  You can get more out of a little this way. 

Consider some things before Eating Out.

Cut back on your restaurant eating.  This can be expensive if you do it a lot.  Think of the money that you can save by cooking in.  If you must order out, then order in.  Take out lets you dine in the setting of your choice.  The portions are usually the same size and you can avoid the temptation of dessert, and there is no tip to worry about.  Remember fast food is measured by the speed with which it is produced not in its nutritional value. 

Keep your dieting habits simple and you will find that it is easier to keep on track and you will not be as obsessed with what you eat and how much weight you lose.  Keep a good diet, make healthy choices, and keep consistent with your exercise.
