You and your children can keep cool by playing in a swimming pool.  This is one sure way of keeping refreshed.  Fluids are still very necessary to keep dehydration away.  The younger the child the faster dehydration can set in.  Be sure to dress cool, have sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat on.  Limiting physical activities, carbonated beverages and caffeinated drinks such as soda and ice tea.

Heat-related illnesses are a very serious matter, which can result in death.  Keep in mind the tips in preventing dehydration and other serious heat-related illnesses.  Always stay safe and cool no matter what your age.
