Preventing & Eliminating Weeds - ContinuedContinued from Preventing & Eliminating Weeds
As weeds are being pulled out by hand, some will break off at the stem and leave behind the root system. The weeds if large enough will form seeds, tilling or hoeing will spread them into the soil and the warmth of the sun will encourage development. If these steps are followed you will eliminate more than ninety percent of your weeds. When and if a weed pops up through the mulch and plastic then pull it out right away. You will see very few weeds creeping into your garden or flowerbed. Gardening can be such a relaxing hobby, do not leave a few weeds make their way into your garden and take over. When ridding your garden from the unwanted weeds you will see such a big change in the size and strength of your plants. Well-established plant will shade the surface of the soil and choke the weeds before they have a chance. Hope you grow a wonderful, weed-less garden!!!
