Creating an Online Logo - ContinuedContinued from Creating an Online LogoWho can you trust to create your logo? You can make it yourself, or you can pay an artist or an advertising agency to create one for you. Be sure that you have a logo that you are happy with, do not settle for something someone else tells you, that you have to have or use. If you give a very detailed description of what you want, a designer will work up several different angles on that idea for your review. How are you going to use your logo? If you are going to use your logo online, on your letterhead, on shirts, jackets, and envelopes or more, you want something that is going to show up on all of these materials. Explain your uses to the person that is going to create the logo for you so they understand what you are really looking for. Why do you need a logo? Ask yourself this question a few times before getting into the thick of things. Understanding what you want to convey to your customers before you attempt to create the logo is a good idea. When are you going to need your logo? If you have been in business for some time now and do not have a logo, you should not waste any more time. If you are just starting out in business, you can afford to wait a few weeks. The longer your customers don’t associate your business with a logo or an image, the higher risk you run of losing customers to the competition.
