Cleaning Crayon Marks Off The Walls - Continued

Continued from Cleaning Crayon Marks Off The Walls

Things such as grocery store receipts or other packaging ink that will bleed onto the counter tops and surrounding areas can also cause permanent marker damage to these areas.  These tough stains can be very, very difficult to remove.  These marks can be removed easily also but with a slightly different solution.

Using a small amount of paper towels, apply some rubbing alcohol to dampen the paper towels.  These dampened paper towels can be used to clean off the permanent marker left behind on your walls, furniture and other unwanted marked furniture.  Each and every marked up piece of furniture will be mark free in no time at all.  The slight amount of rubbing alcohol you use would be a low-cost choice compared to other leading cleaning solutions, which claim to work well but fail to do the job accurately.

Take special care when applying the alcohol solution to finished wooden surfaces.  The alcohol could damage the varnish on wooden surfaces leaving you with a bigger mess.  Test a small-unseen area before using on your furniture.

Although we would rather our children use paper for their art work it just seems inevitable that at one time or other your child will find the wall a more desirable area in which to display his artistic ability.   Using a low-priced way of cleaning will make it a less stressful chore and you might even find a little sense of humor in it.  Just remember they are only little once and they will grow up too soon.   So enjoy your toddlers now some day you will be wishing they were young again.  After many failed attempts to remove particular marks don’t get discourage it may just be a little reminder of when your child was young.
