Another effective method to clean and freshen your bathroom mirror is by applying air-freshener.  Use the air-freshener spray like you would your glass cleaner and wipe dry with paper towels or an old newspaper.  Air-freshener will make your mirror shine and sparkle but also have the added fragrance leaving your bathroom fresh and clean smelling.  This is an effective method to use in a half of a bathroom in which steam from the shower would not be an issue.  If shower steam is a problem than try using the shaving cream.

Using newspaper to wipe your windows and mirrors could leave you with a fear of ink rubbing off on your windows and mirror but the opposite happens, you’re left with a shiny, clean and streak free window or mirror.  Using an old daily paper is less expensive than using expensive paper towels.  Recycling is also taking place when using the daily paper to clean your windows and mirrors which helps preserve the earth for generations to come.

So try cleaning your porcelain toilet with denture cleaning tablets or Alka-Seltzer tablets both are inexpensive and effective when it comes to cleaning stains from your toilet bowl.  If mirrors and windows is your chore than try using shaving cream, air-freshener spray or vinegar-water mixture.  Which every your chore may be the answer could cost you just pennies and the solution is effective and powerful.  So getting that stain out of the toilet bowl and streaks off the mirror doesn’t have to be a chore anymore.
